The BBC's Radio 1 launched this year's Creamfields festival at the Old Liverpool Airfield, Speke, Merseyside on Saturday 28th August. The Essential Mix Arena was on site bringing the audience some stellar music. Radio 1 is hosting the music on demand so you can catch what you missed from the show. Judge Jules kicked off the proceedings with two hours of rocking tunes on the Radio 1 stage. Fresh from his Ibiza show Fergie was back on the road, live and in the mix for 2 hours. Yoshitoshi legends, Deep Dish, put on a massive set. Mikee and Timmi Magic wind things down with 2 hours of soulful house.

Creamfields also apologized for the lateness in opening the gates. Their official statement: "One issue that we would like to take this opportunity to apologise for is the lateness of the gates opening on the day. As I’m sure most of you are aware the weather had been considerably bad leading up to the event, with the sun finally coming out 2 days before the big day. However, this factor contributed to a number of problems on the day which was the reason behind the gates opening 90 minutes late. We would like to apologies to all those people who arrived early and were left waiting and thank you all for being so patient. We hope that once inside, the music, the atmosphere and the whole event in general made up for this and that like us, Creamfields 2004 was one of the true highlights of your Summer."
